About once a month we must eat at Murphy's! It was delish as usual but I had the most precious conversation with Preslie. Here it is:
We were talking about Jesus and being a christian. I got cut off mid-sentence a lot by her but this is how the conversation went..........
Preslie: Am I a christian?
Me: Well, if you know Jesus is the Son of God....
Preslie: I do!
Me: If you believe Jesus died for your sins and on the 3rd day He rose again....
Preslie: I do believe that!
Me: If you tell Jesus you are a sinner and you want to be forgiven and love and obey Him....
Preslie: I do want to do that!
Me: If you do those things and pray to Jesus those things you will be a christian and He will live in your heart....
Preslie: I want to do that.
Me: Then when you do that you get to be baptized!
Preslie: Well, if I'm gonna do that, I am taking my goggles!
We laughed til we had tears! I just love her! More than that I am so excited and grateful she loves Jesus!
