Happy Birthday to Kristen

This weekend we enjoyed celebrating this sweet girls 19th birthday. 
Friday night we went over to OSU to see her and Hunter on her big day! It also happened to be homecoming for OSU so before dinner we walked around  looking at the fraternity and sorority house decorations. AMAZING!! It was fun!  Later, we wandered on over to Mexico Joes for a delicious birthday dinner. 
Sunday night Mimi, Shawn and Grandma came over and we made her birthday dinner choice of grilled veggie, shrimp, beef and chicken kabobs and gave her gifts.

She wanted to light her own candle. Her dessert choice was chocolate cupcakes I make with gnache icing.  They weren't my best so I'll be making more next time she's back!
