The weather was gorgeous yesterday and we decided to head over to the zoo. It's a short 20 minute drive from our house so I think we'll visit often.
The first stop was the pettting zoo so they could get their hands on some of the animals.
There were lots of sheep and goats
He was too lazy to get up but enjoyed the attention
Preslie was most interested in visiting the giraffes. This guy was out of sorts because the females were behind there getting fed. He was not. Later all 3 of them were out and about.
We took the train around the park before we left for the day.
Tons of penguins
Apparently tigers sleep 20 hours a day. Just before we walked away he/she did wake up only to reposition before laying back down.
Preslie too!
It was a fun day.
I'm so glad we got to enjoy the day together!
