Weekend Recap

Sometimes life is like a family portrait where everyone is dressed in coordinating outfits and smiling at the camera. Other times, it's more like snapshots or school portraits. Both are great in their own way.

Many pictures are snapped on my phone and it's funny to flip back through and give me a glimpse of our month, or week or day even. This weekend I snapped a few pictures and text-ersations. It was a fun and relaxing one. Pretty ordinary but because it's spent with the right people, it's always extraordinary!

What mom doesn't love to have this text-ersation?!?!?

I walked in the kitchen and did a double take. Never know what this child will be found doing.

Lexi - love this dog! Love Addi on her computer in the background.

The weather was gorgeous this weekend. We worked outside cleaning flowerbeds, mowing, and planting fall flowers. Rick is our resident gardener guy - he's fabulous at growing things and making them look amazing. Loving the full flower pots and the fall colors!

Addi and Preslie enjoyed the trampoline! It's been tossed and turned in windstorms but it's still jumpable!

I just love this boy! He hasn't been home for a few weeks but will be home Thursday for a short fall break. He's been preparing lots for hunting season -planting food plots, setting up tree stands, reworking his bow and counting down! Now it's time! In addition to hunting, much cooking will happen this week in preparation for his home-coming!

Happiness is...our family together!

Don’t Miss

As the saying goes, we miss 100% of the shots we don't take. Sometimes I find I have to be forced to do things and rarely do I regret it...
