Santa Rosa Beach 2015

For a week this summer the ocean was our playground..
The vastness of the ocean is hard to grasp. Some days it was calm while other days the waves knocked us to the ocean floor. We laughed hard and played hard. It was a wonderful 8 days with people I'm thankful to have in my life.

These two people right here- God has been gracious to us! We are richly blessed.

. Here we are on the way to the beach one evening. Some nice beach-goer snapped this shot for us.
At night we'd walk down to watch the sunset. Never the same picture in the sky. Always stunning!

Preslie built lots of sandcastles and loved the waves! Not even the threat of a jellyfish sting kept her out!
Grateful Mom and Shawn got to come out and spend a couple of days with us!

One day we drove into Destin to rent jetskis. It was a blast! We saw dolphins and made wonderful memories.  I told the kids to remind me when I'm 81 my mom road on the jetski!

MiMi and her grandchildren.
Grateful she's a part of our world! She and Dad instilled a love of family and we will continue it through the generations.
Some of my favorite people

These three girls are fortunate to have a dad who loves and values them! The first man they ever loved.
Blessed is the man whose quiver is full!

God most definitely gave me the desires of my heart! Being a mom is my greatest joy!

Building together

We had a wonderful house to stay in for the week. It was fabulous and we will stay there again no doubt! Mornings we sat on the wrap around covered patio and had coffee, quiet time and good conversations.
Dinners out and ice cream at night was fun!  This place had delish food!

Florida was a great way to kick off August and prepare for a lot of brand new things in our lives!
I'm thankful we could go and already looking forward to going back!

Don’t Miss

As the saying goes, we miss 100% of the shots we don't take. Sometimes I find I have to be forced to do things and rarely do I regret it...
