Despite best efforts to do the best for our animals and care for them well, sometimes it just does not end like we wish. While General didn’t make our home his home all that long, he won a spot in our hearts. We miss him already.
Rick has buried so many animals who became a part of our family over our life together. Today is no different and his tender heart is no doubt breaking as he gives General a final place to rest. But, more than that, his heart is aching because that’s what a daddy’s heart does when his daughters heart is broken.
