Kyleigh's Baptism Day ~

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority. In Him you were also circumcised in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but the circumcision done by Christ, having been buried with Him in baptism and raised with Him through your faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead. Colossians 2:9-12

Today was especially awesome because Kyleigh was baptized. She accepted Jesus as her personal savior when she was five. Hunter actually led her through the prayer to accept Jesus into her heart and in the past several years we have continued to help her grow in and deepen her walk with Jesus. She decided a few months ago that she wanted to be baptized. She was given the opportunity to be baptized on the new property where are church will be built and she was so excited to be able to be baptized outside and in a trough no less!! There is a lot of country in our girl! Then it rained. They rescheduled 3 times and finally today the weather was beautiful and we had an outdoor church service and she was baptized and it was awesome!!

As parents we have prayed for our children to have a desire to know God through His son Jesus and I am so grateful that Kyleigh has made the most important decision and commitment she will ever make. I continue to pray she will grow in her walk w/ God and be a light to a world that desperately needs to know our Savior, Jesus Christ. God is good!
