A few months ago I received a text from Kyleigh. She was at the pizza place and bowling alley with some of the girls from her Classical Conversations Class. Standing in the buffet line she was visiting with them about earning money for a horse. A friend of mine and a tutor at CC 'just happened' to be standing behind Kyleigh and they struck up a conversation about horses and a horse they owned specifically. They were interested in possibly finding a new home for "Rosie" and Kyleigh sent me the following text, "I think God just showed me my horse."
After much discussion we contacted my friend to find out more information about Rosie. True enough they were interested in finding a new home for Rosie. Over the next several weeks Rick and Kyleigh had their weekly date night -they would go out to their house every Thursday to spend time with Rosie. To say it was the highlight of her week would be an understatement. God used our friends to bless our daughter - to give her what she's dreamed of for years. Hunter has also wanted a horse for as long as I can remember - now they both have a horse to ride, love and enjoy! What a blessing. What a gift!
Saturday we brought Rosie to her new home. A little reluctant at first to back out of the trailer but once she did she enjoyed the freedom of the country.

Rosie's friend Sunny came along for the ride and stayed til she felt at ease - Preslie enjoyed him but he already has the most precious little boy at home waiting to have him back.

And them again...
This might be her happiest place in all of the world
Just behind Kyleigh, beyond the fence, is the spot we hope to one day build our home!
Right before we headed home from day 2 of riding she jumped on for a little bare back ride ~
Not for one minute do I believe it was a coincidence how this came to be. Kyleigh had prayed dilegently for a horse of her own. She'd been taking riding lessons for months and this all fell in place and I believe it was divinely orchestrated. God is a God of detail and He tells us, "When we delight ourselves in Him, He will give us the desires of our hearts." He certainly has!

Goosebumps!!!! So happy for Kyleigh!!!
Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing!
I've been taught that "faith prepares"...looks like your
daughter was preparing, believing & speaking for her horse. I'm with you--it was no coincidence..it was the favor of God. Great reminder to all of us to THINK BIG and STAND FAST!
