Our church promotes to the next grade at the beginning of summer. This girl was literally floating around the house in her wedges before we left for church. Thrilled with the knowledge that when she walked into church, she would be part of the oldest group. Top dog. "Senior" of Step-up group and she is keenly aware that next year she gets to be a J-Higher!
I love that things like this thrill and excite her. She felt so grown up. She's still little to me but in her mind, she's arrived.
